California Chapter

The Emergency Medical Services
Public Advocacy Council (EMSPAC) is
dedicated to advancing the welfare of
the men and women serving as
Emergency Medical Technicians
(EMTs), Paramedics and EMS Officers.

EMS workers in California deserve a strong, unified
voice. The CA chapter of EMS PAC is ran exclusively
by volunteers who are all active duty EMTs and
Paramedics. We advocate for fair treatment, safer
working conditions, and meaningful policy change
while also supporting the mental health and
well-being of our providers. Our goal is to build a
statewide network focused on peer support,
education, and engagement with legislators to
ensure EMS is finally recognized as the essential
service it is.

About the Organization
The Emergency Medical Service Public Advocacy
Council (EMSPAC) presents the following policy
platform to advance EMS workers.

We aim to increase public awareness of our issues and
improve inter-agency solidarity as a national
service. We encourage broader unity of efforts and
we aim to eventually develop legislation to advance
the welfare of Emergency Medical Technicians,
Paramedics, and EMS personnel.
